Idolatry and the Philippine Earthquake

In Cebu City, Philippines, Sto. Nino Basilica was heavily destroyed by 7.2 earthquake on October 15, 2013. Also affected were the Roman Catholic Churches in Bohol, Philippines.Unfortunately, some Cebuanos were seen carrying Sto. Nino "idols" in television, as if Sto. Nino "idols" can save them from incoming punishments. The idolatrous act shown by Cebuanos is a spiritual stressor.

The issue is related to Habakkuk 2 verses, which are the "judgment" for United States, France, Vatican City, United Kingdom and Brazil. Quoted for information are the particular verses which apply given the above circumstances:
18 What's the use of an idol? It is only something that a human being has made, and it tells you nothing but lies. What good does it do for its maker to trust it - a god that can't even talk! 19 You are doomed! You say to a piece of wood, "Wake up!" or to a block of stone, "Get up!" Can an idol reveal anything to you? It may be covered with silver and gold, but there is no life in it. 20The Lord is in his holy Temple; let everyone on earth be silent in his presence. (Habakkuk 2:18-20, TEV).

Habakkuk 2 verses refer to the incoming doom anchored on the combination of "sodomy" and "idolatry", which have a direct connection to the Roman Catholic Alleged Church. For the coming event, above verses would specifically apply, its tenor being noted as a challenge to Roman Catholic idols and any idols for that matter, e.g, the "Liberty" idol in New York, the idol in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil which used the name of Christ, other idols, which used the names of Mother Mary and the saints, including the Holy Cross and Holy Rosary "idols", which deceptively used the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, including the name of Mother Mary.


For information of the readers, the publisher was a Roman Catholic before he eventually decided to get out of the said church due to significant observations, which are mostly contained in this site.

Assuming that nothing significant will happen on April 2014, the public is free to conclude that the information is false. Also, if negative, on the other hand, it will free the publisher from believing on his personal spiritual encounter with someOne.

The Philippine Star November 12, 2013 headline reads: " Pope, Obama deeply saddened" . Is it a joke? It further says: "Deeply saddened by the destruction and loss of life caused by the super typhoon, His Holiness Pope Francis expresses his heartfelt with all those affected by this storm and its aftermath". Parolin said in the telegram according to CPCP News.  Does the writer really believe that the Pope was saddened and he has still the heart ? And he believes that the Pope is Holy ? It further added: "In praying for the people of the Philippines, the Holy Father likewise offers encouragement to the civil authorities and emergency personnel as they assist the victims of this storm. The "unholy' cross?

By comparison, Christ called the Father in heaven as "Father" but Roman Catholicism is calling the Father in Vatican City as "Holy Father". The  body of Christ is not being called holy in constrast to the cross, which is being called "holy". When  Christ died, he was resurrected to life by the Father in heaven. But when the cross lost its force against early Christians, who were never afraid to die on the cross, it was resurrected to life by the Holy Father in Vatican City through the Roman Empire. Pope Francis does not like "money" to be idolized. On deeper analysis however, it turns out that he was referring to "greed" in money being constitutive of idolatry.
