Steps on how to pray to the "cross"

1. First step- be a Roman Catholic faithful or crossian and follow faithfully the priest to qualify as faithful.
2. Second step-go to Roman Catholic building which has been and is being called until now as "church". If there is alleged "holy" water at the entrance, use the alleged blessed water to make the sign of the cross.
3. Third step-do what Pope Francis is doing by kneeling in the alleged "church" so that the public will see you.
4. Fourth step-make a sign of the "southern" cross in respect and reverence to heavenly image of a constellation.
5. Fifth step- deceptively and opportunistically use "The Name" of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit by reciting "In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit..amen"' while making the "sign of the cross". This will help hide from others your reverence to the image of the cross more than the real God, as it had been traditionally effective.
6. Sixth step- look at the image of the cross, with alleged Christ image being punished and crucified thereat to frankly, honestly and expressly believe in the power of the cross.
7.  Seven step-say your prayer  to the cross by using "The name" of God.
8.  Eight step-end your prayer by making a "sign of the cross" and using the name of God as in the fifth step.
9. Nine step-if there is alleged "holy" water  as in the second step, then use it to again make the sign of the cross before going out from the alleged church.
10. Tenth step-go home and do your own thing of not forgiving others

If you do these steps then you are very faithful to your cross 
and surely, you are a cross believer and very successful in doing the prohibited act of  idolatry of the physical cross and doing the opposite of Matthew 6: 5-14, to wit:

5 “When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites! They love to stand up and pray in the houses of worship and on the street corners, so that everyone will see them. I assure you, they have already been paid in full. 6 But when you pray, go to your room, close the door, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. And your Father, who sees what you do in private, will reward you.

7 “When you pray, do not use a lot of meaningless words, as the pagans do, who think that their gods will hear them because their prayers are long. 8 Do not be like them. Your Father already knows what you need before you ask him. 9 This, then, is how you should pray:

‘Our Father in heaven:
May your holy name be honored;
10 may your Kingdom come;
may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today the food we need.
12 Forgive us the wrongs we have done,
as we forgive the wrongs that others have done to us.
13 Do not bring us to hard testing,
but keep us safe from the Evil One.

14 “If you forgive others the wrongs they have done to you, your Father in heaven will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive the wrongs you have done. (Matthew 6: 5-14, GNT).
